Twitter Integration

Chobots has brought Twitter into the game, adding plenty of new features that are very useful. To start off let's learn how to set up Twitter in Chobots.

You will need a Twitter account, if you do not have one register here. Once you login you will be able to see a new button that has been added to the user interface.

Click this and a popup will appear.

The first time you view the Twitter popup, you will see a 'Connect to Twitter' button. Click this and follow the instructions to connect!

Once you have done this you will be able to send tweets in-game, view your timeline and see other chobots' twitter profiles.

If another user has connected with Twitter, you will be able to see their profile by clicking on their playercard and then clicking the twitter button.

This is a great update! Now you no longer have to ask a user what their twitter is, all you have to do is click a button on their playercard!

Chistochob Returns

Chistochob is back to Chobots and users can now access his quest.

Chistochob is found next to Garbage Collector, click on him to begin the quest and you'll be rewarded with bugs.

He's here from 12-19 May so you have plenty of time for collecting trash.

New Items

The scheduled items have been released today, like the 'Choevents' panel had shown. Seven new clothing items have been added to the shop, five of these are for juniors.

The items for citizens are the girl's hair (first item) and the gold glasses (third from the right).

My favourite items of these are the blue hand item and the gold glasses.

All the journalists receive the journalist badge, visible on their profile, as well as 5000 bugs! If you did not become a journalist this time, you can try again in June!

Asteroids Contest Winners

The Asteroids contest in the Gamezone has come to an end and the winners have been declared. Here are the top 10 Asteroids champions:

1st: Leet  7 days citizenship, 3,815 bugs, 30 Cho energy, 1st medal

2nd: Trillionaire 5 days citizenship, 3,164 bugs, 20 Cho energy 

3rd: Blazey59  3 days citizenship, 2,867 bugs, 10 Cho energy

You will notice that Cho energy is now part of the award for winning a contest. I think this is a great idea! Brilliant work to those who participated in this contest.

Introducing Levels

If you have logged in to Chobots sometime today you may have noticed a little star with a number next to it located in the top right of the screen.

This shows what level you are. If you click on it, a popup will appear. It shows your current level, the total Cho you have and the number of Cho you have left to collect until you level up.

You may be wondering what the point of having levels are. Some locations and servers have been locked and now require a certain level to enter. Here's an example of entering the Academy:

To earn Cho Energy you must play games in the Gamezone or complete the Nichos Mission.

Asteroid Contest

A new contest has started, this time it's an Asteroid Contest! To find the Asteroid game you need to go to the Gamezone first. If you don't know where it is, it's the purple building found on the left of Cafe Street.
